Older Work:
During my time at Stanford, I’ve had the opportunity to develop my writing skills through rigorous coursework. Many of the pieces you will find on this site were written as part of a Public Issues Reporting class through which I covered the low-income community of East Palo Alto and the proliferation of non-profit organizations there that do not seem to have effective impact. Other clips included come from a course on foreign correspondence reporting taught by Joel Brinkley, through which I learned the basics of how to cover a topic on which you have little prior knowledge, particularly in the Middle East. I believe these clips demonstrate that progress my writing has made in the past year.
